Intended for long dwell measurements, the RADMET spectrometers run for weeks on minimal battery power.
The RADMET gamma ray spectrometer exhibits eleven decades
of dose-rate dynamic range.
The RADMET gamma ray spectrometer is built to stand up to rough conditions, such as in maritime and port environments. Its stable operation is impervious to temperature changes.
RadMet is developing low-cost, networked gamma-ray spectrometers, under license from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. They are intended for long-dwell measurements in port security, nuclear power installations, and environmental monitoring applications. Our sensors are rugged, impervious to temperature changes, and operate for weeks with ultra-low battery power consumption (< 50 mW). They also exhibit eleven decades of dynamic range with respect to dose rate.
