Radiation Measurement • Charge Detection • Space Exploration
Under license from Lawrence Livermore National Lab, RADMET is developing highly specialized gamma-ray spectrometers aimed at national security and environmental monitoring.
The RadMet team pioneered the technique of charge detection mass spectrometry in the 1990s.
RADMET used the technology to make the first direct mass measurement of an intact virus.
RadMet, with its ice grain accelerator, is helping prepare for the search for life on Saturn's moon Enceladus. Our technology is guiding the development of advanced sampling and analysis tools aimed at the frozen ice plumes surrounding that body.
